Naam has joined with Exhale to Inhale to provide special donation based community classes every Sunday evening. Proceeds from these community classes will be donated to Exhale to Inhale and will help us bring the healing and grounding practice of yoga to women who can most benefit, but wouldn't otherwise have access.
Every class will be lead by a guest teacher from our community. Guest teachers come from diverse backgrounds and approach class with their own unique style and philosophy.
Join guest Teacher Monica Monfre - October 1st & October 15th @ 7pm
A dancer, and a former athlete, Monica finds the body is a tool that never lies. After 9 years teaching high school literature her body said enough standing still, time to move. She reentered the dance studio, not as a student but as a teacher. Her body was not always ready for the rigorous demands of teaching 6 dance classes a day leading her to begin deepening her yoga practice, finding yoga a way to calm her body and her mind. With yoga she was able to access strength in actions and in stillness. She now works to share yoga with students, teachers, and anyone looking to harness and cultivate inner strength.
