This summer, SOL Yoga is hosting invigorating sessions for mind and body at the 230 Fifth Rooftop garden across from Madison Square Park.
Connect with nature as you join in with the greenery for Tree Pose. Not only does every session boast views of the Empire State Building, it provides an opportunity to be instructed by Lana Carmela of Sol Yoga & Oleum Essentials. #solyogarooftop
A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to "Exhale to Inhale", to help bring the healing practice of trauma-informed yoga to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Class 1: 6:30 - 7:30 AM - Sunrise Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Class 2: 8:00 - 9:00 AM - Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Class 3: 9:30 -10:30 - Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Class 4: 11:00-12:00 - Vinyasa Flow Yoga
BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat). Mats will be available at first come first serve basis.
Lana Carmela specializes in providing yoga instruction, wellness advice, and in-person courses in Mindfulness for sports teams, corporate groupings, and individuals. Lana has 20 years experience with Vinyasa and Bikram Style yoga and is registered with Yoga Alliance holding additional certifications in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yin Yoga, Reiki, Social-Emotional Learning Faciliation and Mindfulness in Education.
She is an advocate for living a conscientiousness lifestyle while building awareness of the self. She believes being Mindful is vital to being successful in all aspects of life. Her love of the outdoors and healing shows through her teaching. Beginning her mornings at 230 5th rooftop are freeing, peaceful and exhilarating for her.
Jody Carey is an internationally recognized teacher in yoga, spirituality and movement. In Miami she is considered a mystic and has been highly respected as an embodied spiritual teacher of teachers for the past 10 years. Jodi began developing her natural intuitive gifts during a short-lived career on Broaway almost 19 years ago and since has evolved this wisdom through working closely with trauma and the body, self healing through meditation and the natural world around her. Since then her private practice has thrived through continued devotion to a ritualized faith based practice while empowering people to listen-in to the intuitive language of their bodies.
Intensify your mind-body experience by linking it with nature. Watch the sky change from dark to light during Sunrise Yoga. During the second class enjoy gazing at the birds flying overhead while the trees wave at you.
Classes are intended to evoke a sense a harmony, timelessness, and connection to the universe. The union of the self, nature, and humanity is truly felt as she leads you through mini guided meditations and Reiki healing throughout class. After the final full-body relaxation meditation, Lana pampers her students with essential oils and a cool eucalyptus towel.
