Exhale to Inhale Program Director
Reports to:
 Executive Director

Position: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director, is responsible for the organization's operational success, including overall management of Exhale to Inhale’s program staff, programs, and consistent achievement of its program goals and mission. Specific responsibilities include overseeing the lifecycle of the organization’s trainings and developing high level program strategy and quantifying program impact. 

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree preferred.  Must have experience in non-profit or for-profit business management. Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check.

Qualifications: Proven leadership and relationship management experience. Ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth. Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives. Strong marketing and sales experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills, persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills. Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business. Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people. Must have integrity, be mission-driven and self-directed. Ability to travel occasionally. 

Employment Status: Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Salary Range: $53,000 per year (40 hours per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence and oversee program evaluation.

  • Lead, coach, develop, and retain high-performance program team.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for program team. 

  • Ensure the Executive Director is kept fully informed on the condition of the organization’s program tactics and outcomes.

  • Establish sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements with community groups and organizations.

  • Represent the programs and point of view of the organization to agencies, organizations, and the general public.  

  • Manage the organization’s trainings including: 

    • Secure partner studios

    • Finalize contracts

    • Market trainings

    • Ensure training logistics are in place

    • Secure scholarship recipients, including proactively recruiting applicants, screening and interviewing applicants 

    • Conduct post-training survey, including analysis of results to implement feedback in future trainings

  • Develop strategy and oversee the organization’s continuing education program.

  • Oversee & ensure the excellence of the organization’s programs in NY & LA including:

    • Develop and maintain partnerships with high-level staff at the organization’s partner facilities

    • Provide a quarterly report of the organization’s program impact (number of classes, students, visits)

    • Collect qualitative data displaying the impact of the organization’s impact 

    • Develop strategy for and oversee the refinement and expansion of the organization’s program offering (universities, public classes, train the trainer)

    • Develop strategy for & oversee the organization’s program evaluation efforts

  • Other duties as requested by the Executive Director.
