Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services is a large social service agency that meets the diverse and growing social and emotional needs of the community. Exhale to Inhale is the leading trauma-informed yoga provider for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The organization's mission is to use the healing practice of trauma-informed yoga to empower survivors, while helping communities to develop skills and knowledge to support them. We carry out our mission by providing direct services to survivors at shelters and other social service agencies, while providing trauma-informed training to yoga teachers and community members to build more supportive communities across the United States. 

Partnership to empower women who have experienced domestic violence

Recognizing the prevalence of domestic violence in their community, Ohel is committed to providing comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence including children and families in an effort to prevent and respond to domestic violence. Exhale to Inhale is proud to partner with Ohel by providing a customized package of trauma-informed services that are tailored to their needs and will enhance their current offerings. These services include: 

  • Trauma-informed yoga trainings for staff members 

  • Trauma-informed yoga for staff members 

  • Trauma-informed yoga for clients through the domestic violence program 

  • Yoga for Children

  • Trauma-informed yoga services through the Safe Dwellings Program
