What it Means to Be a Survivor in a Yoga Class

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is well underway! Our community has been hard at work bringing awareness to this critical issue and raising funds to support survivors of sexual assault. As of today, we have raised over $5,000 towards our goal! Help us keep the momentum going by making a donation today. Any size donation will make a difference.

We are honored to present this week's conversation around what it means to be a survivor in a yoga class. Below you will find a heavy, but important conversation in a podcast episode with Young Professionals Board Co-Chair, Chelsea Quint, along with insights from our community members and an opportunity for YOU to join the conversation.

Help us Raise Critical Funds

With limited resources available during COVID-19 and increased demand for our services, Exhale to Inhale has prioritized wellness for over 30 different shelters and community agencies in 2021 so far.

Our work is far from done, and during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we have set a goal to serve 10 additional organizations in our next term starting in May.

Throughout April, Zoe Scurletis, host of the Solace and the City podcast will be teaming up with Exhale to Inhale Community members to share stories of survivorship and the journey to long-term healing. This week features Chelsea Quint, Trauma-Informed Business Coach and Co-Chair of Exhale to Inhale’s Young Professionals Board.

In their conversation, Chelsea walks Zoe through her life which was littered with various forms of sexual assault and explains how she ultimately was able to begin crawling out of a dark place.  Because of the incredibly positive impact that yoga had on her life, Chelsea became a certified yoga instructor and now works closely with ETI to help others see the transformative power of yoga for the mind and body.
