From Wellness to Wellbeing


2024 College Program

In 2024, Exhale to Inhale​ (ETI)​ ‘s From Wellness to Wellbeing Program will​ deliver trauma-informed yoga ​curriculum to NY students to support ​their wellbeing and create safer campus communities.​ In addition to reaching survivors and allies, ETI​ will ​bring our training curriculum to ​​college staff, faculty and ​all ​students to ​support cultural changes and individual understanding around sexual trauma, impacts on survivors and communities, the use of trauma-informed tools to create welcoming spaces, reducing harm and understanding consent, and power dynamics.

Program Overview

  • In person yoga classes over 24 weeks geared towards supporting women and girls, trans women and non-binary folks during Spring and Fall 2024 college terms.

  • On-Demand yoga classes over 12 weeks in the summer geared towards supporting women, girls, trans women and non-binary folks.

  • A foundational Trauma Informed Yoga workshop for faculty, staff and students at the launch of the series in early 2024.

  • A supportive workshop for fraternity or male-identified folks in September 2024 to cultivate allyship and create bystander intervention.

To adequately support the mental health of at-risk young adults, we need accessible intervention methods that empower students.

Ten college campus communities will receive program supports from Exhale to Inhale in 2024 designed to support survivors and sustain and nurture allies on campus.


Program Goals and Outcomes

Serve 10,000 NYC college community members in 2024 through our wellness program!

See significant improvements in stress, personal agency, and body awareness over the year to nurture empowerment and support ongoing wellbeing.

Create lasting change in the systems and campus life in allies, friends and colleagues that support students.

What you need to know:

Collaboration is key! We invite one or more departments to jointly submit the application. We will only accept a single application per college.

  • All NYC based colleges and educational institutes are invited to apply! Application Due Date is ongoing, please email us at collegeprogram@exhaletoinhale.org if you need clarity!

  • Attend a virtual application clinic live on Zoom: October 31st at 12PM EST (post-meeting recording available)

  • Exhale to Inhale will visit campus for a site visit to meet key department heads, faculty, student leaders and Provost. Our team will also request to see the space earmarked for the classes. We anticipate that the site visit will last 45-60 minutes depending on walking time needed on campus. Provided there is alignment, we will collect and confirm onboarding documents; MOU, insurance and media files, and anticipate MOUs and Agreements will be signed no later than January 15th.
